Writing & research

Wayne Wapeemukwa is a Michif filmmaker and philosopher from Vancouver. His research moves between social and political philosophy, settler colonialism, and the philosophy of film — with a particular focus on expropriation as both an economic and a cinematic operation.

He is the Killam Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of British Columbia, where he is developing his first book, Journey to a Critical Theory of Discovery.
